Can i use tazarotene instead of tretinoin?

In my country it's much harder to get tretinoin than tazarotene. I've never used pure tretinoin before, i had acne and used epiduo,differin etc. but then got accutane and healed my acne completely, of course i get sometimes 1-3 pimples but that's all. After acne I still have got acne scars and my skin isn't in good condition. So i want to do collagenmaxxing: tazarotene + red light+ derminator. So will tazarotene be good replacement?

If u have scars look into sillicone sheets or lasers for scars

According to this study it works better and is cheaper. I'd probably start off with a small amount every other day and a fuckton of moisturizer.

The study is about treating acne, isn't it? I want to use retinoids for skin, less acne scars, smoother skin, collagen etc. Tazarotene is much more available in my country than tretinoin, that's why i'm looking for a replacement for retin-a. Thanks
