You can improve your IQ on IQ tests, but you can't improve your raw, true intelligence. So you can practice IQ tests and do better eventually, but it won't apply to anything else. You won't be increasing your "true IQ" or actual intelligence.

You can't increase IQ but not all valuable things require a high IQ. Alot of shit you can just memorize to get around having poor critical thinking skills. For example most of high school and uni is just memorizing things or applying things you memorized. You don't need to be Einstein to find a decent job or look smarter.
