Braces will fix overbite in max 3 years, if slight overbite - in around 2 years. Maybe you can even get Invisalign if you have enough pesos - very aesthetic and actually shorten orthodontics time even more.

idk cuase ive been mewing for 2 months now and before i kinda couldn't feel my front touch with the bottom but now i kinda do so very little differences. But my tongue posture is kinda good and bad cause i look like i dont have overbite when i dont bite but my tongue is in between the front and bottom so yeah my case is pretty weird i was planing a surgery but i changed my mine since its a sin to get a surgery on your face in my religion

mewing generally only works when you're very young. as you get older, it's mainly a habit that maintains your midface. your reduced bone turnover and closed palantine sutures make it nearly impossible to create new expansion and large scale movements.

don't get braces, they'll want to retrude your alveolar process because most doctors are lazy hacks who don't understand how facial development works. they just want to get the teeth to align and get you out the door for the next sucker

only get braces if it's in preparation for bsso or bimax to bring the bottom jaw up and forward
