Like this freckle that used to be at the start of mandible is now not on it. It’s probably not mewing but something else, I haven’t gained weight so I don’t know why it’s shorter. I’ve been mewing for months and it’s done nothing and now my mandible is shorter? I look like a flat faced subhuman. FUUUUCK

My guess is that your mandible has not caught up with your maxilla given you that recessed appearance. In theory, it should correct itself over time. Make sure you are also chewing hard gum 10 minutes each day to stimulate the growth of the mandible. If you are more interested in having proper tongue posture I suggest you start posting on the great work. You will not get good advice here as some people reject the fact that mewing is legit (lmfao recessed fags).

No, my mandible used to have a freckle at the start of it but now it’s on my neck which means it’s further back. Ive compared them both using the exact same bite and head posture so it is 2mm shorter. I might’ve mewed wrong and fucked my face. I’m really confused now.

It hasn’t at all. I have an extreme overbite which of course makes my lower jaw set further back than it should. Pretty sure it also caused vertical growth which is why it’s recessed. I don’t think my maxilla is recessed cause when I fix my bite, it’s not that bad.

Your skin is stretching to push up bone, that's probably what's happening. Have you taken a side profile? You could answer most of these questions with one picture.

If your mandible is getting shorter, you are doing it wrong. You should not be able to breath or feel any air through your mouth when you breath, only through your nose.

If the overbite is really extreme as you say... Why don't you correct it?
