Can MK677 actually cause fucking DEMENTIA? (biology and medical majors gtfih)

reading up on MK, came across this article on a forum here;

basically going on about some theory where MK can cause dementia and quoting this study:

I’ve been unable to find anything else regarding this issue and i’m wondering if it’s just some idiot thread or if it has some science behind it. It also doesn’t seem like it has much to do with the study they linked.

Can anybody who has some knowledge in this field comment their view on this?

Nigga It's a drug that pumps your body with a copious amount of hormones and fucks with your brain chemistry, of course there's gonna be some shit effects on your brain

i just reread it and i think he’s wrong as it’s a very weak theory, how is igf-1 safer? is that not the one you inject into like both legs to stimulate growth in each? if so, that could very easily lead to you medically needing LL

IGF-1 LR3 is secreted naturally from the liver in conjunction with HGH with is secreted from the pituitary i think. People normallt inject igf 1 into their ass. Injecting it into your legs wont magically stimulate growth there. Mk677 has been like to increased chance of diabetes and heart problems

Weak study, however I wouldn't be surprised if it did fuck up your brain in some way- not that it would

i’m sure it harms ghrelin receptors and maybe will make me less hungry in the future (not that that’s exactly a bad thing) but i can’t really see how in any way it would give you dementia when real studies show it actually improves synaptic function
