What are iu, k2 is usually measured in mcg or mg, also what type of K2 - MK7, MK4?

8000 IU of vitamin K2 = 200 mcg

It’s not an overdose at all, it’s just the normal high dose when you take D3 as well.

Mcg

Trans-Menaquinone (MK7) ideally, if you can find it.

I have been taking it for 3 years and saw no change sadly, I must have already been developed and it was too late.

Isn't MK4 supposedly better for growing your bones, this one is rarer and more expensive, most supplements have MK7, it's pretty common...

I mean, the most studied one is MK7 for general health and bones.

I have only ever seen some stuff about MK4 from some Japanese treatment for osteoporosis, but that shit is using 45 MG (yes, milligrams) and would be insanely expensive.

So I don’t believe in K2 for extra bone growth honestly, but I could be wrong.

Yes, there are MK4 pills with 15 and even 45mg of K2.

Mk7 is more expensive. 100 mcg a day costs me 0.2$ while 5 mg a day of MK4 costs me 0.25$. Supposedly Mk7 is more bioavailable but I don't know to what extent.

If you want to try out and you have some spare money, go for +15 mg MK4 and 200 mcg MK7 a day. Less will not have any effect most likely.

Yes, but MK7 it's supposed to be more potent, it's recirculated in the body and can last for days, while MK4 doesn't last for long, it's not detectable after a few hours, although it's not really known why - it could decompose, or maybe it's actually used by the body...

Which is why combining them might be the greatest idea. Mk4 can be sold in drops too so you can distribute your dose through the day.
There's not much information about K2 out there.

There are pills with both types of K2, and even other lesser known variants(MK8, MK9, MK10, etc.).
That being said, I've tried multiple types of these, but still didn't see much results.

It's not something that will make noticeable changes unless you have those medical problems like in the Japanese studies. For facial bones and such things, it might work when you are a child and maybe when a teenager. In adulthood, I doubt it but there's the possibility it could.
