Can punch in the nose make it bigger?

I was punched really hard at the nose a year ago and it was swollen for a few days and now its giant

Potentially cartilage displacement from the injury though I don't have much to go on and swelling should go down in weeks not a years time might be structural damage. I don't particularly want to say surgery but it may be one of those things you should get it checked though fsure.

I had a bike accident a while back and had a similar injury on the nose I can breath fine and the bone itself hadn't given me breathing issues though it visually aggravated me so its not necessary for a procedure if it isn't a health risk but if you're like me getting it checked out could be beneficial.
