Can rhino fix a recessed philtrum (diagram)

The patient's maxilla isn't recessed - It's just the nose starts so far forward the philtrum is recessed instead of projected in a side.

if its on the longer side just get a lip lift itll give the illusion your lips are more plump, flatness makes recession worse

Face on the left is forward anterior nasal spine with no downward growth and insufficient mouth protrusion. Face on the right has a recessed ANS with downward growth and no mouth protrusion. Very little to do with the nose itself.

I said it. Anterior nasal spine too forward and not enough mouth protrusion to compensate.

It’s not a form of recession.
