The tip of the nose can be shortened, the base cant. So your philtrum cant become longer unless you get a reverse lip lift which would be retarded if you have a long midface. The only way to shorten your midface is get a LF1 Impact, CCW LF2/LF3 or if you need minor compressions then lip filler or a lip lift if ur philtrum is big. A rhinoplasty can make it LOOK shorter if ur nose tip is too downturned but it wont change the nose base at all
