Can snail mucin cause cancer?

My friend said to me that using snail mucin on your face like cosrx can cause cancer.
I have not found one single thing about it online tho. The only thing i found is that it can prevent cancer.
He says that it is not studied enough to be sure so he uses just beef tallow.
Does anyone have any inputs on this?
