I get that argument but ecanomies don't work like that if they are a skilled demographic they usually compete are good surplus for buissneses this allows for more job creation.

Think of it like this if you have 1000 dollars and you want a job done the guy next door is gonna want 400 the guy from abroad is gonna want 200 because you payed him 200 you made a profit of 800

As a result you can afford to do more jobs and higher more people this is how job creation works

If he’s asking what made Canada so much more of a shithole now than previously it’s obviously way more likely to be the thing that has changed recently (much higher immigration) instead of the thing that was consistent for decades (zoning laws and high taxes).
