No point in trying to be different, people who use fashion will say they are trying to style themselves the way they want to express themselves or whatever bs but it is always just simply fitting in, even with alternative and unique fashion styles its just trying to fit in with some niche group and signalling it with their clothes, always just go with decent but basic looking clothes and let your looks do the actual work
