I want to watch a good ol' blockbuster Hollywood film with at least some substance and actual plot.

WTF is this absolute garbage of films this year.

Even the top rated Maverick was beyond trash. Let's put aside the obvious propaganda and nostalgia explotation, the whole film felt as if I was watching a YouTube reaction video of a band of faggots posing in 3/4 profiles and reacting to each others' lines by squinting into the camera and the American flag.

Is this really the best Hollywood could shit out for 2022?

When I watched Elvis I wasn't sure if I was looking at the film or its trailer?? I understand the directing behind it, but Jesus that was a total butchery.

Of course, I'm excluding the MCU propaganda machine and their theme park genre.

Please, share some good 2022 films. I'm taking a break from Indie and European cinema - I want some popcorn films with substance and a big budget.
