Well,
There are ways to prevent healing. It’s basically a DIY version of a professionally done surgery. If you cut within 1-2mm and do it correctly it will not heal.

There will be scarring, yes, but if measures are taken to prevent fibrosis it will not be damaging.

You can’t just do it lol, you need to have a procedure. I have single razor blades so I’ll be using those.

If you don’t do it correctly it will just heal which defeats the purpose.

My slightly droopy lip corners and slightly narrow lips (horizontally) is one of the only things holding me back, so it would be extremely beneficial

Small incisions which gradually get you to the point you need to be at or want to be at. It should be over a span of 4 days I believe

I actually told him that he shouldn’t be performing the procedure without a guide or anything like that. He wasn’t really giving me advice.

In my case, I believe it would be possible to upturn the lip corners instead of actually doing it with the goal of making my mouth wider. If the correct measures are taken it is safe, and obviously possible as it’s the same procedure as done professionally, and that works

Ok I’ll have a look as well and come back to you - in theory it could work just the only results I’ve seen are temporary so I’ve never bothered to look a lot into it
