Christianity is basically the belief that there’s one God who created everything and loves humanity and that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to Earth to teach ppl, die for our sins and rise again so ppl could have forgiveness and eternal life with God. We Christians follow Jesus’s teachings like loving others, forgiving ppl, praying and trusting God. The different types of Christians mostly come from different traditions and ways of worshipping or interpreting the Bible and they r Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant. Main diference between them is that Catholics follow the Pope and church traditions plus the Bible (I think but I’m not too sure since I’m Orthodox), Orthodox r similar but have different historical traditions and leadership (because we don’t follow the Pope) and Protestants focus more on the Bible alone and Im pretty sure include groups like Baptists, Pentecostals ect. Even though they disagree on some things, most Christians believe the main message is faith in Jesus, salvation and living for God

well anything that you hold your hands on has been created by a creator, someone who had an idea, executed it, and made it a product. Everything has a creator, and the life you have been given, your body, and anything has been provided by god.

God is almighty, above us all, and gives us either eternal life, or hellfire. There will be a moment after you die where the decisions you took in life, and the way you acted will be judged by our Lord. If you lived a live according to the bible, you will get to heaven/paradise, and be in eternal connection with god.

He made prophecies aswell, and god becoming human has been talked about in earlier revelations in the Old Testament. Eversince the messiah came, the bible has been split into two parts, the old and new testament.

What's the point of believing in christ as your lord and saviour? Well if you live according to the bible YOU WILL be happier in life. You learn how to appreciate the moment, the people around you, and be grateful for service in general. Since christians firmly believe that the god in the bible is the one who is worthy of worship, and our all creator, its just a framework how to structure in live life in generall. No matter where you're from, the laws of the bible are above the national law, because they have been written by the people in charge. Important to know, no matter if you're from North Korea, Germany, Turkey, Somalia, or the States.

Being raised by atheist, and coming to christ (pbv. including the church service) about 4 years ago have been an overall blessing to me, and I'm grateful to have made that decision, it's hard to explain but the "jesus glow" is for sure real <3

Being active in church service and other church related communities made me find interesting characters that you otherwise wouldn't find in the universities, and everyone being under "constant sorrow" and not showing alot of ego is a nice thing. Church foids and regular foids are not different tho, foids still be foiding and being hypergamic, but other then that it's just nice in general.

I'm catholic and catholic traditions, art, "culture", churches and overall mog aesthetics brutally, no matter if on pinterest or in real life.

what got you into christianity?

What got me first to christianity or catholicism was the fact that during my lifetime I never got rated and leeched on by christians, usually the only people that stand by their words, and try to not be troublesom and annoying characters in real life, you just feel save around them, and expressing myself freely came naturally in those surroundings (which is important because I'm somewhat ND jfl)

Also being interested in Aesthetics, Art, Architecture and History enabled me to go visit churches due to own interest, and after visiting a mass on a sunday morning made me go catholic, because I'm geniully convinced that this attendance enabled me to build a connection with god.

Type of what? Theres protestants, catholics and orthodox christians being the most prominent. Martin Luther founded the Protestant church in the 16th century. "Their bible" has 7 lesser books then the catholic and orthodox one, and most books are usually archived in their original text from greek, aramean, and hebrew (iirc) in museums and catholic archives. What you will read are obviously translated versions, that try to translate the original text into your mother tongue.

It comes down to traditions, language, culture to "why there are so many different cultures", going to a local pastor or to church in generall will clear your answers pretty fast. Not a fan of "googleing" information about christianity since it will have an bias.
Islam being better preserved is a big cope and lie ngl, it is even stated in hadiths that:
-certain pages of the quran have been eaten by a goat (sahih al bukhari level authentcity, I can look up the exact hadith later on)
-Illogical when it comes to preservation in generall. "Allahs" word can not be corrupted but the New Testament, which should be "Allahs" last revelead Revelation, and has been corrupted by ordinary people? I thought "Allahs" word cannot be corrupted.

When it comes to living a fulfilling life, it's not about being "happy" non stop, but rather being the creator or director of your own destination using yourself as the author of your own story that you will later tell your children (hopefully) about. You're not here to always be "non stop" happy, you're here to have a fulfilling life. Suffering is a part of it, and important becoming an interesting and developed character.

Christianity was never changed, and the original teachings are preserved to this day in the Eastern Orthodox Church. you can also read the church fathers from as early as 1st century to see what Christians of that time believed

1. if there is no God, suffering isnt inherently bad because all morality is subjective. the only reason why you can definitively say that XYZ is objectively evil is because there is a standard of goodness outside the material word, aka God.
2. we live in a fallen world corrupted with sin, and experience its consequences.
3. we believe those children go to heaven because they were too young to consciously reject God's love.
4. suffering in itself isn't inherently bad, the entire purpose of Christianity is picking up your cross and carrying it, and not betraying God even if will result in your torture and death (just read the lives of early martyrs)
