Can someone explain how teeth decomp with braces works before bimax?

I don't understand, people say that if your lower jaw is recessed your lower incisors will compensate by tilting themselves outwards to get a correct bite, even if there is a skeletal deficiency, but how is decomp done if both TOP and BOTTOM incisors are tilted forwards?

the upper jaw isnt always pushed forward , the surgeon can js rotate ur maxilla or lower jaw or both so u get perfect bite stop thinking he js pull it straight forward

That's exactly what I'll tell him to do, I will want most of my forward movement to come from CCW

but if he rotates my maxilla UPWARD, wont my top incisors follow along and point even further out?

oh I understand so u mean w the ccw , u think the repositioning of the lower jaw will push the maxilla upward , yes but u need to differentiate rotation and movement if ur maxilla doest rotate , ur teeth will js stay straight he will js positionate it a lil bit forward

Yeah exactly if the maxilla doesn't rotate then the teeth will remain in the same rotation position

but I will want like 10 degrees of CCW, to fix my steep occlusal plane

and my upper front teeth already point forward thats the problem, maybe ill have to get braces AFTER the surgery to make them straight again?

Yeah exactly if the maxilla doesn't rotate then the teeth will remain in the same rotation position

and my upper front teeth already point forward thats the problem, maybe ill have to get braces AFTER the surgery to make them straight again?

the surgeon must make u wear brace before the intervention so he can reduce the maloclusion , then he will coordonate the upper and lower jaw rotation so u get a perfect bite after , and u will wear brace after the operation so it stay in place and correct definitely ur bite , that the normal procedure , feel free to ask ur surgeon more details

Yeah might have to do that, fuck decomp takes 1 year, there are a few surgery first surgeons around the block but ive only heard negative shit ab that

dont that shi tho , and go to a good professional surgeon that respect basic processus , ive heard so many ngas getting botched w no bones movement and random nails in there mouth
