What makes this forum addictive? Why am I rotting here when subhumans are enjoying life. What is the appeal of the forum?

Probably because you feel that your opinions are similar to many users here?

Yes, the forum design may be designed to be addictive.

But above all I would say that I enter more in the offtopic part than any other category.

I read in some book that forums and social media are addicting because of the reaction system.
Checking how many reactions or likes has the same effect on the brain as the primal instinct of checking your status amongst a group in hunter-gatherer society

Because we are losers with no life. When i was hanging out with my friends after i left lookism, i barely thought about PSL. Now since i have lost touch with and have no friends currently, i just can't help but rot.

I think that applies to every forum. But I would rather be here.

I think ultimately it is because this forum is about looksmaxing and women, a topic, which isn't discussed irl and is even taboo but is very appealing. Everyone wants to ascend. Imagine saying to a friend irl that you want to have a surgery to slay more.

True, I almost always check to see if someone responded to a message or reacted. Mostly to see if I said something stupid or incoherent lol

Yeah it pries on a very primal instinct of the brain. It's probably also the reason this site gets more activity than incels.is

I think that is the basis for it to be addictive, but you could be in any other forum and not in this one

because you're interacting with other people
your brain is wired for you to like social relationship just like it is for things like eating food, sleeping, sex
