im getting empower braces which are basically damon both using self ligating and im trying to get herbst appliance but he said he would most likely use elastics first is that okay? and its confusing cause i thought the whole point of ligating brackets was that you dont need elastics?

Not sure all greys glaze the herbst appliance, it restricts forward growth.
