I wouldn't call it motivated, that comes from deep within. I would call it clearer headed. In truth all that really happens is the blunting of those emotions and thoughts that are in loop on your head all day. They don't go anywhere either, it's always still there.
It depends which ones tho. I was on risperidone and it made me feel like absolute shit, it also makes you impotent. Now I'm on nothing and I just deal with the phases of depression and mania on my own.
