can tooth gap be removed after palate expansion

i already have a central tooth gap and if i use a palate expander i’m scared it’ll increase it more, i also intend on getting clear smile direct aligners (cheap invisalign) after i expand my palate, is that fine?

Expander will def make ur gap worse, but i think u can somewhat fix it with braces or sum

I'm just thinking if you need palatal expansion then your case is more complicated than Smile Direct is designed to deal with. It's it just for the front teeth? You probably want an actual ortho taking care of your case.
