No, heat ruins it. Don't wrap it in aluminum. What I recommend is just take it out of the bag last second, throw the bag away, and tuck it into a pocket of one of your pants in your carry on or in your wallet and just take it out when you're in the plane and ask for a snack. Rip a strip of the snack wrapper and just wrap the acid in the snack wrapper, then put it back in your wallet. And put your wallet in a bag or something. Keep it as cold as you can. Heat is the only thing that degrades the acid, AFAIK. If you have the acid anywhere near your body, your body heat will cause it to degrade.
