both for general chitchat and private DMS, if i get a PM from someone and its the chat, i get tempted to put them on ignore

The cooldown is stupid, but they don't want to moderate that place. Also, people would probably mass rep farm in there with no cooldown (maybe).

But a better system should be implemented.

Agree, and yes, a lot of slop is posted, but there are funny greys in there! And some regular poster drop by.

I can change the structure of how it looks visually but i can't change anything non-client sided.

the chat is a strict xenforo feature, can't change it with an extension.

Maybe money could be made if he reworks the whole chat system.

He could apply a ranking system to it, add another VIP rank for exclusive chit-chat rotters. If Master gets his hand out of the chicken bucket, he would see he hasn't capitalized enough yet!

Plus there are no ads in the chit-chat section; master, that's money lost right there!
