The bone loss is only localised to the socket - it won't affect your profile.

Also wolffs law works on mechanical tension - your ortho should be moving a tooth back into that socket meaning there shouldn't be much bone loss as it is technically restoring mechanical tension.

it wont affect your BASAL maxilla or mandible only the alveolar bone which will only cause a flatter lip profile - look at all the before and afters the maxillary triangle and total facial convexity is mostly the same
