If the sum of first m terms of an AP is the same as
the sum of its first n terms, show that the sum of its
first (m + n) terms is zero.
its easy but lengthy

Bro the answers are at the end of the textbook
its not a question from my book bro its from a sample paper u do not want the answer in this one gotta prove it
If 3k - 2, 4k - 6 and k + 2 are three consecutive terms
of AP, then find the value of k .
try this its easier

Is this more of a quesiton that requires just intelligence or do you need to have studied math to answer this?

right lmfao, this is very simple. you know the formula for the sum of an arithmetic progression, in the case S_m you can let the terms, n, be m and then make it n obviously for S_n. set them equal to one another, do some basic algebra, youll have to factor and then divide by (m-n) near the end. this can be done as m-n isnt 0 obviously. now S_(m+n) = ... now sub in your value and what do you notice? its multiplied by 0, boom it equals 0
