Can you get downward growth without getting a long midface

Serious question, I think I am most likely quite downward grown but I have measured a dozen times and my midface seems fine, IDK, maybe I'm just stupid though
So yeah, does downward growth ALWAYS lengthen midface/philtrum?

long midface is frequently caused by the eyes being positioned a few millimeters above where they should be

if your face had developed up and forward / mew standard of quality, I imagine your midface would not change too much from what it is, I don't think it would change the front proportions much, just like ortognathic surgery
