it does bhai

Ramieri does his with smooth titanium and he told me this is a lower infection risk with it being smooth. Yours look porous. What do you think about this?
Wrong. Almost all of my implants have perfusion hole which scar tissue rapidly grows into, including the hundred of PEEK ones over the last 5 years. This
1. perfuses the underlying bone with blood supply (instead of having large area without periosteum, under the implant),
2. Stabilizes the implant with long term integration so you aren't depending on screws (and so screws dont transmit as much concentrated force in an injury), and
3. Reduces bone resorption by reducing stress shielding. Muscular feedback is transmitted to the bone through the implant via scar bands.
4. Gives a place for antibiotic powder to be loaded in the implant - to reduce infection

These are well known orthopedic & spine surgery principles that also apply to craniomaxillofacial surgery, although these concepts are not as widely understood in the CMF community. It comes down to the relative rarity of facial implants vs abundance of orthopedic implant case studies, which most implant biology concepts have been derived.

Perfusion holes are a medical advantage, not disadvantage.

Yes but only because I work with Ramieri.

I work with 2 surgeons in Italy, 1 in USA, and 3 in Istanbul. I wont work with anyone else.
