I would recommend going to a derm as soon as you can, since the faster you can resolve your acne the less you will have to deal with unesthetic scarring down the line.

Do what you can on your own by cutting out sugar, dairy, etc. But definitely consult with a doctor to see if you can benefit from topical ointments or oral medications.

Also at 16 you're still growing so any rating here will be likely to change over the next few years.
