Can you really switch from being a Jestermaxxed idiot to an intelligent and charismatic individual, with the same audience, and reap the benefits?

Can you really go from being the jerstermaxxed "cute" retard to being articulate and seemingly intelligent?

Is it worth it?

For an unattractive person, the only route to being likeable is acting like an idiot and being "cutely retarded"

But the question arises sometimes, about whether starting to set boundaries and respecting yourself, and attempting to revert to your original state of being articulate will actually help. Will it?

Or will he just seem like an arrogant "smartass"?

?? its an intensifier
What do you mean by "it"?

An intensifier is a word that strengthens or emphasizes the meaning of another word, typically an adjective or adverb, to add greater emotional context or intensity to a statement. Common examples include very, really, and so, which modify other words to make them more impactful, as in "very happy" or "really fast".

"Really very fast" or "Very really fast" doesn't make much sense.

"Very fucking fast" does.

"Very" by definition could be used as a synonym for "really", and also for "fucking"

"Very good" is pretty much equal in "weight" to "fucking good"

"Very fucking good" makes sense, while "Very really good" doesn't.

Very = fucking ?
Really = very

So logically "very" should be equal to both "fucking" and "really"

Doesn't make much sense. Or does it?

Thanks for your insight.

I'll be testing this hypothesis, and will get back to you in a few weeks if it makes a difference.

I see. I've known the people for around 4-5 months now. Do you think it'll make a difference?

I don't fear being known as the class clown, I fear being ignored and ridiculed.

People could lose interest in you, they might see you like boring and unfunny, you are pretty much forced to jestermaxx if you want to fit in, especially if you are ugly/short/ethnic/etc.

This is my hypothesis, but I've never really seen someone do it "right". You should still be funny (not in a self depreciating way) and nt after you stop jestermaxxing.

Im going to try this. Hoping for the worst.

Never try being something that you clearly aren't, people will see through your facade very easily

Jestermaxxing is pretty much being something that you aren't. Which is why I used "revert" in my OP.

at the very least it would need to be done over a long period of time, gradual changes over months to years

Yeah but the question is why were you jestermaxxing in the first place? Especially if it involved self deprecation and people were mostly laughing at you rather than with you there's a big chance it came from a place of inadequacy and struggling to fit in.
I suppose the strong silent type is achievable if you gain some big wins in your early 20s

Raising your money/status would definitely help, people will respect you more, look at all the famous and rich comedians and actors, they are successful jestermaxxers.
