I am considering infraorbital implants because of recessed maxilla and want to get Marpe/FME in the future.

If i get PEEK implants there will be screws in my infras and zygos which secure the implant, could it be that the screws work against palate expansion because they hinder lateral expansion of the maxilla?

well that depends on the implant size and shape in itself, if you're going for a single piece small infraorbital implant, then you shouldn't worry

I would get something like this but with less frontal zygo projection and no lateral zygo/zygo arch projection if that makes sense.

green light
but FME? Do you even know the costs?

It's $18,500 for the FME device, $7,650 for the Invisalign, $850 for the retainer + other costs such myofunctional therapy etc.

I know the costs because my friend is wearing one from Dr. Jaffari

thx bro
yeah the price is crazy and thats the reason why i want to get implants first because they resolve some of my issues and get FME in a few years once im done with university and have money.

My main goal would be to get a face mask for the FME to get like optimally 10mm forward expansion and only 6mm lateral but thats pretty unrealistic right now so i will see what the future holds.
