Can you use minoxidil etc if your hair is healthy?

I have no idea if I will bald or not. I'm 22 and it doesn't quite seem like I will, but I am very afraid of it. Can I just start using minoxidil anyway? Does it have any negative side effects? On healthy hair/hair that doesn't actually need it?

Because Min promotes growth by shortening the life span of the hair that you already got.

there’s a shedding when you start using fin, and as i said it promotes growth and it doesn’t stop falling out of hair.

Fin on the other hand it stops hair from falling out and could also promote growth
