The "New Thesis" anime only adapts season 1 of the original.

The entire original anime consists of 110 episodes in total. Season 1 was the first 26 episodes.

Im pretty sure there going to make a new season but I couldnt wait so I just binged all of the original. The animation is pretty outdated but you get used to it. Its hard recognizing the characters because of the art change. I would suggest watching from the beginning if you do watch the original so you dont get confused.

Finish the new one for sure. I honestly like the new one mainly because of the animation and design. Season 2 might take a while to come out, so I would say after you finish the new one. You can go ahead and watch the original. I started from episode 26 after finishing the new one personally.

btw This is backstory to Rudolf the first emperor who represents Adolf Hilter in the anime.

Nah the new adaptaton sequels are not movies btw, its just labled as movie for some reason which was a mistake. There sequels which are episodes.
