Do you remember that one time you were with your crush, before you knew about bp, maybe it was at school work the park maybe it was a year ago 5 years ago a few months ago but when you were with them and someone around you brought up you two flirting or pictured you two together romantically your crush said something along the lines of ‘ew’ or ‘wtf no i would never’ and your heart got shattered in an instant in real time just by a reaction of someone you liked, and you had to act like it didn’t affect you and sit there and laugh a little then act unfazed trying to play it off knowing your heart sank after that moment… brutal, i feel like a lot of us experienced something like that and yet the person you liked reacted that way bc of how you looked but if you were HTN+ would your crush still have said “ew”? no but yet she would still tell people looks don’t matter and that she goes for personality, even tho when your heart got crushed you feel less of yourself especially when you thought they liked you. How some of our villain backstories were made.
