Can't find my drugs

I had hid it in the basement in a book in a bookshelf where I thought no one ever looked... Now I wanted to take it out and I went through every single book in the shelf but didn't find it

Either my mother or my sister must've taken it but no one has said anything... I think if my mother would have found it she would be mad but maybe my sister would just take it and keep for herself... Should I ask/confront her about it?

Your mom took the book with the LSD in it cuz she wanted to read that specific book.

And when reading it, she puts her finger on the corner of the page of the book to turn the page, with the LSD sticking to her finger. She then proceeds to lick her finger in order to make it easier for her to turn the page, accidentally putting the LSD on her tongue and swallowing it without knowing.

You better tell her what she's done before it kicks in or she's gonna think she's going crazy.

Best place to hide shit: if you have a bunch of shoeboxes hide it in one of them under the paper. For your sister just don't say anything. If it turns up and you told her you'll hate yourself. Unless it was very valuable just find another spot and move on
