I did my best, but the psychiatrist said she never prescribed anyone stimulants for ADD because they try to practice "safe medicine". Instead she bumped my dose of guanfacine (a pill which causes sedating and anti anxiety effects) to 2mg.
Yes, stimulants can ruin you if you abuse them, and I'm acknowledging that, but I'm well aware of the risks of abusing drugs
