I want to know if im the only one like this. I cant stop looking at myself. its gotten to the point that i do it at every opportunity i get. wherever I go i feel the urge to just go to a mirror and look at myself and inspect every part of my face.
The most ironic part is that i dont even know what i am anymore. I look into the mirror and in my head i looks a certain way, then i take a mirror pics and it looks somewhat similar, then i take a selfie and my face but mostly my eyes appear to morph.
I think im above average?
I put very low effort into my appearance to test myself. I hold myself at very very high standards, i constantly compare myself to top tier supermodels.
I just wish i could be in their head. I occasionally see bad selfies of them and always wonder how often their selfies turn out like this because they probably only post the good ones. Do they feel ugly when they see themselves in the morning mirror? How often do they have bad selfies? Do they get used to their faces and think theyre average/unattractive?
I “researched” this topic deeply, as in the psychology but i need more information, im very interested in this topic
I dont know the exact textbook definition of bbd, but i think i have an extreme case of it. I want to heal myself of this but From what i understand it takes 2-3 weeks of not looking at yourself to “reset” your self image and for me thats not possible, as i cant even go an hour without doing it. For context ive been in this community for 2 years. Anyone feel the same?

I used to be like that before for a long time and from just 2 hours differences you can from subhuman to mtn in your mind. I think you dont need to look at yourself every hour its just auto brainwashing.

Now i avoid myself at every mirrors to not ruin my days and i feel wayy better personally.

Do you think its a sign of being un/attractive? Why do you think its brainwashing?

Idk, you can only know if you're un/attractive if you analyze objectively + when you reset your self projection as you said.

Its auto mindfucking* because you can't even lock your level of looks. Like going from a self perception of Chadlite, to subhuman, to LTN is not normal and your bones wont change even in just 3 months especially after developement
