Life just isn't hard enough

When I was a kid I used to almost obsessively pick my nose; this was due to living in an almost permafrost environment surrounded by mountains where I the temperatures were constantly below zero. Afterwards, as I grew, I dropped this habit and managed to improve my hygienic practices. However, now that the quarantine is here and the circumstances prove harsher than expected, I have picked the habit once again. I knew that I liked women with a lot of snot, but... could it be that I simply like snot?
I generally like to employ a circular motion action with my index finger, going from left to right, so that I can more efficiently scratch the residues of mucous membrane and pull it out. So far, I have managed to classify three types of mucus.
Hard mucus - this one is generally a result of the snot hardening and solidifying due to the cold temperatures. However, since mucus is an unstable substance, it is prone to breaking at a cellular level and dispersing throughout the nasal cavity. This is my least favorite to pick, and it makes it hard to breath.
Sticky mucus - my favorite to pick, this is the prototypical state of snot; a texture reminiscent of slime, and it has got good taste to boot. I generally take my time picking it, and I thoroughly enjoy playing with it using my index and middle fingers. I like to stick this one on walls, so that I can keep a record of how much membrane I am discarding over time.
Liquid mucus - you can't pick this one, but it's a laugh when it hangs from your nose in a thread that stretches as far as 15 inches. It is also a joy to grab it with your hands and pull back, because it's seemingly never-ending. Toilet paper ruins this joy.
