I remember Lookism had quality threads (aside from all the racebaiting threads) - It's no wonder why they don't post here anymore.

I think it's just a demographic issue and an acute lack of users with ''personality'', personality in the sense that they have something to say, they have some experiences and they share them, they have some thoughts and opinions of their own and are willing to share them and debate them with other users, etc. instead of just being some mindless drones, 12-18 years old, from TikTok or something, whose entire life experience is playing Minecraft, Fortnite and Roblox or something, while on obscure servers and conferences on Discord, in their mother's basement, after coming home from school they were ostracized and bullied

Users with ''personality'' unfortunately most of the time fall into several directions / fate quite quickly, either getting banned or deleting their account sooner or later

Also, the older demographic who might have more to say and have a different perspective, or make better quality threads, is less motivated to do so when their threads aren't getting engagement because the rest of the forum users don't give a shit / don't understand what that user is talking about, so it's a vicious circle..

Very true. Majority of kids on here now are 15-19 and have had no experiences at all. All they bring to the table is their surface level knowledge of looksmaxing that they got regurgitated to them via TikTok. It's like a game of telephone. By the time these people hear about the surface level shit, it's been morphed into something completely different in their brains.
