Cant tell if my minifridge is just smelling like shit or bout to burn down my whole dorm

Got new minifridge getting more stuff cant take up more space in the flat fridge without it being suspicous left an aqualyx (did half one day then the other next cause im a pussy and got scared) in there loose and somone found it so decided to get one plugged it into extension cord didnt wipe it down so they are known to have bad smell but it lowk might burn my room down
