Canthus/eye area

Alright, so pretty much (yes this is pathetic and I’m embarrassed) I tried to cut my medial canthus. I used a precision X-acto knife and alcohol swabs to clean the area, pretty much I tried to make the cuts but ended up just making a bunch of small paper cut ish marks under my inner eye corner that stung a bunch. I studied ahead of time where veins and nerves are so I don’t screw anything up super bad, and I was told that because you’re only supposed to cut the epidermis that you need baby cuts, which I attempted. Please don’t clown me I understand maybe I am missing some obvious core component but if anyone has ideas or advice I’d really like to know.

the small lacerations on the very surface of the skin between my top and bottom eyelid are what had small amount of liquid coming from them, shiny because I just wiped off some cream from the spot. Definitely don’t think I did it right. Photo taken by friend ignore shocked eyes

It doesn’t feel like I messed up too bad just like I either did it wrong or not hard enough.

this is where you should be cutting, that’s your medial canthus. the whole point of the cutting is to give it a longer appearance, heres an example

Yeah I know where it just felt like cutting it didn’t elongate anything just made a small almost paper cut like incision.
