Mirin, why are you learning it? I only know how to speak english and spanish, when i was a child i was kind of forced to learn german because of my school but the classes were boring af and i was like, when tf am i going to actually use this language unlike english which is spoken by basically everyone nowadays, so when i left that school i forgot most of what i was taught, i didn't even pay attention to those classes tbh.

Now that i am older i've been interested a couple of times in learning a new language but i don't know which one, if i do it would be for practical reasons like having to work in another country
