mostly no. socialism is not just about doing whatever is most expedient. the goal is usually to reduce exploitation, give workers and communities more control, and organize society around human needs instead of private profit.

it’s also too simple to say profit and hierarchy always require “gatekeeping wealth.” capitalism can create unfair hierarchies, but not every hierarchy is automatically capitalist, and not every market system works the same way.

the part about governments using militaries ok but it does not prove socialism is right or capitalism is uniquely hypocritical. states with socialist governments have also used violence, hierarchy, censorship, and military force. so the issue is not just capitalism versus socialism. the deeper issue is how power gets concentrated and how states justify using it.

last time we had this great socialism millions were starved to death (holdomor), most modern communist states have the lowestest average living standard
