Likely they are but there are some evidence that they are facultative carnivores because of the stomach acidity is 1.5, so it's more acidic than omnivoreshuman is omnivorous.

Bulking with a ketogenic diet is suboptimal. Here is why:
• Carbohydrates are protein sparing. Your body will use carbohydrates for energy instead of using proteins.
• Carbohydrates promote hormonal responses. Insulin is anabolic.
• Carbohydrates are less likely to be stored as fat in a surplus. Fat in a surplus mostly gets stored directly as fat. Carbohydrates have a better nutrient partitioning pathway.
• Carbohydrates are an easier source of energy for your body if timed correctly.
Start eating carbohydrates if you want the best results from your surplus.
