For poker i always just try to calculate it "manually", no strategy. As for blackjack, i can show you the basic counting method if you didnt find it already

Isnt it pretty much impossible to count cards now since most casinos use multiple decks

The trick is to keep tipping the dealer. That way he wants you to win and shuffles rarely new or puts in a new deck
