Card declined in the bus that was supposed to take me home (hour bus ride btw) but the mid bus lady saved the day.

Boarding a bus taking me from uni to my home, and once I tapped on the screen showed a declined report and my jaw dropped. Thank god the bus driver was a female and asked me where I was going and she let me on and said "I'll let you go for now but don't let this happen next time". And I was like so fcking anxious at that time. once the bus ride was over, i was the last guy to get off and before I did I went up to the bus lady and was like "tysm for letting me on, this was my first time only fard declined, I thought I had funds but forgot about it" and then she was like "oh honey don't worry about it too much, it happens to everyone, don't stress about it too much hon, just remember to tap off everytime you use transit so that it doesn't cut you extra". Then I tha led her again and was like you mind if I got your name. and she gave her name with a big smile on her face and I said that I hope I meet you in the future. And she was like "aww Ty, you too honey".
So after this incident and analysing every detail I realized that the lady kept on calling me hon or honey. Ay maybe she was putting me or umm son .
