Just discovered I need to run 5km in under 25 mins to pass my physical exam. I have not cared about my cardio for awhile now idk if I can achieve this pace w 2 weeks of training

i recommend you to spend those 2 weeks maybe running 6 times in total. if you are in somewhat decent shape it won’t be that hard. start with 1km. next time 2km and so on. have a rest day inbetween so your body and joints have a chance to restore themselves.

Whats the physical exam for? You would need to run 12km/hr for 25 minutes, that sounds very tough honestly, its borderline HIT

Will be testing this out, idk if I'm in somewhat good shape to execute this 6x in 2 weeks since the side of my stomach aches when I run too fast I am healthy though so I'm guessing it's normal.

Academy I applied for tests applicants who passed the entrance exam to see if they're physically fit I don't want to get into details since I'll be doxing myself lmao.

Just dance when running, it will be more fun and less of a burden.

i don’t know what it’s called in english, but it’s a common phenonemon. it happens occasionally if you’re not used to running. it’s safe, and usually dissappears after a couple minutes of rest. ofc you shouldn’t overdo it, take breaks if needed. also, you should’ve started training earlier, you’ve put this on yourself lol
