Before conducting this experimentI used to lurk on this website for over 1 1/2 years on and off to get looksmaxxing knowledge, 30min - 1 hour a day max.
I conducted the following experiment:

Be active on this site for 10-12 hours every day for 3 days and then quit cold turkey.

The results:

- During those 3 days I was active I made about 500 posts
- about 10 people called me a tiktokcel
- blackgymmaxx only ever replied to my posts to disagree with me or call me retarded
- xangsane tagged me in one of his posts (biggest achievement)

Now for the withdrawal part:

- I set myself a goal to go offline for 2 weeks
-During the first few days I could barely concentrate on my regular tasks because I wanted to check this site so bad
-After 13 days I still got urges to check this site and thought about it sometimes

Conclusion:

Now I've passed 2 weeks and can say that this site is literally like heroine or some shit. I got literal withdrawal symptoms after only 3 days of being actually active and some of you have been shitposting daily for a couple years already, to those I want to say:
It's truly over. You can never leave this site jfc unless you get into a coma for a couple years but even then the first thing you will do upon waking up is gonna be check the notifications on this site.

Not true. In your case you lack socialization irl so you come here to have this basic need. If you were to hang out daily with people and do plenty of activities irl, you would instantly forget about the forum, coming only once a week for 20 minutes.

had 4 accounts, when I deleted one it was because I was completely tired of being here and had something else to do. then the next months I would completely forget about here, until holidays started and I was again at being alone at home with nothing to do, then I would create another one. It's the same cycle over and over, although this summer was way too much, I literally had nothing to do these 3 months, zero friends, zero plans, zero nothing. My average this summer must be easily 9-10 daily hours here. Won't happen ever again, from now on I will never have the same amount of free time I had.

This forum has little to do with looksmaxxing, it's mostly for lonely relatively young people like me who found a way to overcome their real life lack of interaction by "socializing" here, with people who share a pretty similar point of view and you can relate to. It's easily forgettable when you can get your socialization need somewhere else, then you will either not come here, or log in from time to time to do some occasional posts.
