Castillian Spanish or Argentine Spanish for Argentina?

In 2021 I will be staying in Argentina for 3 months.

I already have some basics in Spanish and I wonder if I should continue to learn Castillian Spanish or if I should learn an Argentine dialect instead.

Also is it any easier to learn Spanish if I already speak perfect English, decent French and had Latin in school? I guess German doesn't really help here.

Well, spanish is mostly the same everywhere, just few words, expressions or definitions change. If you are in Argentina you will learn their accent and some of their words and expressions obviously, if you were in Spain you would do the same there. Not big deal, but learn proper Castellano if you don't want to sound like a third worlder.
