I don’t know, I’ve had four dogs throughout my life, and I never tried having a cat because I’m allergic to the fur they shed.

i don't know why people are scared of dogs they're harmless atleast the ones i've met

I've met plenty of vicious dogs that would brutally maul you till you were finished if they got you. I hate owners who leave such animals loose. One time I was driving my atv which has no doors and a pitbull came charging out of the bushes at me. I reacted fast and floored it, and the dog was still alongside me at 35mph. Had to make a sharp turn ahead because the road straight is too narrow and windy to outrun the dog, so I had to make a right as fast as possible without sliding out which was a risk because the dog could jump in during the turn if I was unlucky. Got through the turn and floored it. Dog was still alongside me at 30 and then 35mph. Didn't check again till I hit almost 50 and it was gone.

That dog only wanted one thing and that was to rip me apart. I'm sad that dog didn't find it's way under my vehicle that day. I'd have loved ending it. Years later that same vehicle broke down suddenly in the middle of nowhere, and I can only imagine what a horrific situation that would have been if it happened during the dog altercation. Owners like that need to be banned from owning dogs and should be forced to pay compensation to anyone their dog threatens too.

That’s epic. Pit bulls are mostly all like that tho, I’ve known guys who’s girls pit bull has attempted to end them. Some dogs are just dangerous, my sisters dog gave me a scar (not a pit bull tho)

Yeah I'm very skeptical of all pit bulls even if they seem friendly. Dogs like that can be very erratic and change up instantly. Sucks you got hurt by your sister's dog man.
