South Indians seem to have decent balding rates, maybe it's all the Ancestral South Indian component they have in the largest numbers

Either middle eastern farmers, or indo european ancestry is responsible for balding. I'd say farmer because every Indo-European shares the same farmer ancestry which obviously originates in the middle east, or more specifically the northern levant/anatolia/ Caucasus region.

Your average caste south indian does bald still simply due to the fact we have significant caucasian ancestry even if 40-50% of our dna is ancestral south indian. All our higher percentage of ancestral south indian dna allows us to do is bald at a slower rate compared to North Indians.


If you ever seen pictures of south Indian tribals who probably have the highest amount of ancestral south asian dna, you'll see plenty of old asf people with still a good amount of hair on their head, like NW2-NW3 MAX.
