Many men are reliant on women for their ego to some extent, even those you that don't think they do actually do on a subconscious level.
In my experience I've found being able to kick and punch women (all consensual) gives me this form of disconnect to them as some unique species.
This mainly stems from some kind of dark kink but can just be used as a form of self improvement not only to assert yourself as the better gender (let's be honest species) but also also grows a form of independence that you simply can't get get from beating a man.
